Too lengthy to answer as an FAQ, but asked often, especially by fellow collectors, is “Who do you WISH you had in your collection?”
Of course, there are a slew of random, genre-crossing and obscure names that flood my brain and my eBay searches. Watching an old movie or reading a biography can trigger a deep dive into a celebrity rabbit-hole, cascading further into “Wait, do I have this person? Are they alive? Should I add them to my collection?”
Many legendary stars that died young are on the "Most Wanted List" of so many collectors - Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, River Phoenix, Kurt Cobain, Sharon Tate, Jim Morrison and the list keeps going. HOWEVER - the aforementioned are the highest-end forgeries you will find online! Buyer beware!
