AMERICAN HORROR STORY ALL-STARS
I am a ginormous fan of Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story". My initial interest was because of Jessica Lange who is my favorite current working actress. She, and the first season, "Murder House" was pure gold! I've been hooked ever since and have watched every season since- with varying degrees of interest of course. Here's the autograph breakdown of who's in my collection from AHS - starting with the All-Stars who have appeared in five Seasons or more.
SARAH PAULSON AUTOGRAPH
Simply an amazing actress! Sarah has enthralled me with everything that she has done not only in American Horror Story but also in "Ratched" and her Emmy award-winning role as Marcia Clark in The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. My favorite episode of hers is the final episode of "Asylum" where she plays both the young and elderly version of journalist celebrity Lana Winters with a whopper of an ending - her range is phenomenal!
Sadly Sarah, like Jessica Lange, is not a huge fan of giving out autographs. This glyph of a signature was purchased on eBay in June of 2026 ($72), only because I was guaranteed authenticity by seeing a video of her autographing this specific photo in a nanosecond.

EVAN PETERS AUTOGRAPH
With nine Seasons under his belt, Evan is tied with Sarah Paulson - his characterizations are so varied that I simply can't pick a favorite. My friend Mikey McGarbo sold me this very cute picture of Evan, looking a lot more like an innocent, young Doug Savant than the sometimes-sinister guys he so often portrays.
BILLIE LOURD AUTOGRAPH
I yelled at her when she was a little girl, for running around the lobby of the Curran Theater in San Francisco during the run of "Cabaret" starring Joely Fisher. Of course, it was years before she got famous, and I was chastised verbally by her grandmother Debbie Reynolds. It was a legendary autograph night for me, and I was able to get autographs of Debbie, Carrie Fisher, Joely Fisher, AND Sharon Stone. I'll share details about that story and the autographs later. In the meantime, here are two fantastic authentic autographs of Billie that I bought on eBay (with proof of signing) for $68 each. And here’s my quick Instagram story about that night when she was a little girl...
EMMA ROBERTS AUTOGRAPH
Emma has been an AHS stalwart through six seasons. I think I really liked her most in the Rosemary's Baby-like themed "Delicate" season. I'll share more about Emma, her dad (met him in person), and aunt separately - but right now I'm sharing this autographed bloody 8x10.
KATHY BATES AUTOGRAPH
Kathy Bates has always been a good autograph signer through the mail. She's had five seasons with AHS so far, but my favorite is "Coven" where she played Madame Delphine LaLaurie - a real person whose address (now rebuilt as a private residence) I visited during a tour in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
ANGELA BASSETT AUTOGRAPH
Like Kathy, Angela has also been a good signer through the mail. Both pictures that I have signed by her were also signed by Whoopi Goldberg - oops - I mean a Whoopi secretary since Whoopi has used a secretary for almost her entire career for TTM requests. (More on her separately)

The same as with Kathy Bates, my favorite season of Angela's is "Coven" as Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau - another real person whose address I visited during a tour of the French Quarter in New Orleans (her original cottage burned down; a new structure is in its place). But more interesting was visiting her actual grave site at St. Louise Cemetery where people had left various notes, coins and talismans.
P.S. Nicolas Cage has a huge 9-foot pyramid mausoleum in that same cemetery ...waiting for him.
P.P.S. Angela should have gotten the Oscar as Tina Turner. Hands down
FINN WITTROCK
So creepy good as the killer clown Dandy Mott in "Freak Show". Quite the contrast from this handsome photo autographed by Finn. Wait. He seems too “normal”!!!
AMERICAN HORROR STORY – THE DIVAS
Ryan Murphy knows his audience. He casts people who are trendy (Kardashian), legends (Lange), eye candy (too numerous to mention) and gay icon divas.
LADY GAGA AUTOGRAPH
She was magnificent in “Hotel” and a bit “perplexing in “Roanoke”. But this Little Monster was here for it! I love her music, her unique personality, her campy acting dive in “House of Gucci” and touching performance/award garnering turn in a “A Star is Born”. A unique supernova that constantly re-invents herself. She does the same with her autograph. She switches up her signature quite often. I bought this “Mayhem” LP on eBay for $93 in June of 2026 – because I like the fishbowl eeriness of the photo and think it fits the AHS mood perfectly. I also had this other autograph in my collection, which I had seriously pushed aside as fake, until I saw an example of an in-person signature obtained from her that looks damn similar. You be the judge.

PATTI LUPONE AUTOGRAPH
Would anyone care to give a bleach enema to their son? Patti LuPone will be happy to show you how, as she did in the “Coven” season of AHS. I also love her take on the gay bathhouse version of Bette Midler in the “NYC” season of AHS.
It’s great to see the resurgence of this Broadway diva as an actress. I’ve had her autograph in my collection for years (many cards and photos for less than $5 each)
But my friend Michael Augustine-Reed wrote to her and got me the fantastic color 8x10. The great 8x10 of her smiling (“Evita” days) was a photo that I sold back in the day (why oh why?) and I also had a ticket to see her solo and I ended up donating it instead of going (again, why oh why?). Patti has revoked my gay card.
Diva attitude: Patti kills me with her unfiltered honesty. From her unapologetic assessment of Madonna in “Evita” (“she’s a movie killer”) to her oft-filmed chastising of audience members filming or shining camera lights on her during Broadway performances – She. Will. Let. You. HAVE IT.
I was very lucky to see her in “War Paint” with Christine Ebersole in 2017. Patti is a legend that will not go quietly. And she shouldn’t!
AHS: MURDER HOUSE
It's the one that got us all hooked. And it also opened the door (or cracked it wider) for so many careers.
DYLAN MCDERMOTT AUTOGRAPH
I couldn't ask for a more perfect 8x10 AHS autograph as the sexy dad in Murder House! Thank you, Mikey!

CONNIE BRITTON AUTOGRAPH
I really didn't know Connie because I hadn't seen "Friday Night Lights" or any of her other work. But getting raped by the Gimp rubber man to be impregnated with the Antichrist was WHOAH! I was lucky to find this early signature that is neatly and fully signed - unlike her current scrawl – for 20 bucks on eBay.
TAISSA FARMIGA AUTOGRAPH
Violet Harmon didn't even realize she was dead in "Murder House"! I love this schizophrenic multi-shot autographed photo of hers. (Love her sister Vera Farmiga, too.)
ALEXANDRA BRECKENRIDGE
Alexandra played an interesting character in "Murder House" where she was the younger version of Frances Conroy (Moira) - but Alexandra was seen only by men who were lustful or unfaithful. Hmm. Nice twist. I was surprised that I had her autograph in my collection and that I had bought it in a lot of over 100 pieces for $2.95 each
AHS: COVEN
MARE WINNINGHAM AUTOGRAPH
Mare was never on my radar TBH. Never a fan of the 80’s movies; I was so busy living life and capitalizing on my “hot” youth, that I rarely went to the movies. I missed all the John Hughes movies for instance. Don’t really care. Her first season on AHS was in “Coven”, but it wasn’t that juicy of a role. And then Mare showed up as the stain-obsessed, ghost launderess and maid to Evan Peters in “Hotel”, I was like … “WHY have I not seen this woman in more things?!?!” Luckily, I have two autographs in my collection – one is a very neatly (e.g., readable) signed 8x10 photo and the other is her standard m … j with some dotted I’s on an index card. Both bought for less than $3 each in big collections.
GABOUREY SIDIBE AUTOGRAPH
“Precious” was not my kind of a movie; too intense and emotionally taxing. I didn’t see it, but I knew Gabby from seeing all the hoopla and media around the movie and her being on the award circuit. Technically, “Coven” was my true introduction to her. Queenie is a character to be reckoned with! I had tickets to see her at the Sydney Goldstein Theater in San Francisco for her book promotion (which would have included a free signed book) – but alas, she cancelled. Ticket sales? I don’t know, but I eventually did buy the book for $20 and I’m happy to report that the signature here is MUCH better than the pre-signed books!
LESLIE JORDAN AUTOGRAPH
Leslie Jordan was an absolute DELIGHT! Hilarious in “Will & Grace”, yes, but Brother Boy in “Sordid Lives” takes the cake! THE BEST – in both the movie and series. (Autographs and meeting other members of casts covered separately) I love seeing Leslie in anything though – remember how he entertained all of us on social media during the pandemic. Iconic! As part of the Witches Council in “Coven” - it was doubly better watching him in scenes bouncing off Frances Conroy.
My mom is a Leslie Jordan STAN and she and I have seen him perform FOUR times – 2012, 2015, 2018 and 2020 at the Rrazz Room/Feinstein’s in San Francisco. Each time, the show was fresh, hilarious, heartbreakingly honesty about his past troubles with drugs and abusive men wrapped up in humor and some fun gossip. Some of his best stories that made us cry because we were laughing so hard were about riding on the back of pedicab in Turkey and how he learned forward to sniff the driver’s ass while he was standing and peddling. And the one about being so high on drugs, isolated and paranoid that he was convinced the trees were talking to him. Or the cowboy boyfriend who was just a little “off”. His childhood stories were also priceless. Growing up in the south playing with dolls and twirling a baton – with his sisters and mother being so loving – and even his military dad understanding young Leslie and being patient, but sometimes wincing, with him. When he said that his dad bought him a doll in a wedding dress as a Christmas present, it was just so touching. You couldn’t help but love the guy. Leslie was truly iconic!

And when he talked about other celebs, his gossip was juicy but respectful and funny. Especially when he talked about working with Jessica Lange and how she coolly shot down a few of his over-eager suggestions. Here’s my mom (smiling anonymity) with Leslie in 2018. I’m not sure why I didn’t take (or can’t find?) any pictures with me and Leslie. He was a gem after each show, and I’ve got plenty of things signed by him. Note the table of merch in the background (yes, I bought the book.)
AHS: ROANOKE
CUBA GOODING JR. AUTOGRAPH
Cuba Gooding Jr. was a random pop-up appearance during “Roanoke”, his only season on AHS, and his performance was ummm … confusing? Over the top? Right on target? I dunno. I’ll just say it was something else.
Regardless, I do have an index card signed by him in my collection (bought in lot for $0.88 each) Here’s my enthusiastic birthday greeting to him on Instagram.
AHS: OTHER CAST MEMBERS AND AHS: 13
ZACHARY QUINTO & NAOMI GROSSMAN IN-PERSON
I’ve met 4 season veteran Zachary Quinto in person in San Francisco, as well as Naomi Grossman from “Freak Show” at a Hollywood Show convention.
JIYOTE AMGE – MISSED CHANCE
I had an email exchange with Jiyote Amge (the smallest woman in the world who was killed, “pickled” and displayed in a glass jar in “Freak Show”). But I was unclear on how much money to send, and I didn’t want to waste the time with uncertainty mailing to India. I lost the opportunity when I had her on the hook.
ORLANDO JONES AUTOGRAPH
Orland Jones in AHS: 13 replaces Lance Reddick (RIP) as the character Papa Legba, gatekeeper to the underworld. Damn – the amount of time in hair & makeup!!!! I’ve got two of his autographs in my collection ($5 for both)
MENA SUVARI AUTOGRAPHS
Yep, it was all about Mena in the tub with rose petals in “American Beauty”. But I’m obsessed with The Black Dahlia, so it’s nice to see her reprise the role from “Murder House” and “Apocalypse” in “AHS: 13”. I’ve got 3 Mena autographed cards in my collection (each for less than $3 bought in lots), but 2 of them are forgeries. Buying autographs in lots is like the “Facts of Life” theme song ... “You take the good, you take the bad …”
Which is a good way to close out for now, since I’m sure I’ll be back with more autographs from future Ryan Murphy AHS seasons; whether good OR bad.
