Banderas, Antonio
I know they’re not married anymore, but Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith were together for almost 20 years, so they are inextricably linked in my brain!
I'll talk more about about Melanie later - Hitchcock give young Melanie a doll of her mother (Tippi Hedren) in costume from "The Birds" ... in a coffin. Great gift for a child. I also want to dig deeper into her role as Marion Davies in "RKO 281" - and her work with John Waters in "Cecil B. Demented" where she told him that she's been on a diet her entire life (according to his commentary on the "Mommie Dearest" DVD extras. I'll be back to talk about Tess some more.
As for Antonio ... let's not talk about Che in "Evita". And I'm not a fan of Puss. In Boots.
Autograph authenticity on both of them .... to be revisited.
