Charles Bronson, drive-in movies and my dad's convertible Chrysler are inexplicably tied together in my brain. That's because I really don't recall seeing any of Charles Bronson's movies in my dad's Chrysler with my family, it just seems to match the era. And I certainly don't think that my dad took us as a family to see Death Wish. But maybe... 

It wasn't until I was in my 40s that I saw Charles Bronson in a bit part emerging shirtless from the water with his muscle body in Miss Sadie Thompson with Rita Hayworth, that I remembered oh yeah that's the tough guy from Death Wish. 

And without researching I seriously cannot name one credit or movie appearance of his beautiful wife,Jill Ireland. All I can say off the top of my head is that I have a picture of her on the Johnny Carson show, and that I remember she had cancer and wrote a book about it. 

And as you can see, the two of them made a stunning, hot couple
