A James Bond beauty covered from head to toe in gold paint to die of suffocation in “Goldfinger”. ICONIC!
Jill Masterson may have been the role that Shirley Eaton is best known for and put her on the cover of Life magazine, but she has quite a few credits to her name.
My campy favorite is “Ten Little Indians” from 1965. Not only is it one the best Agatha Christie stories (IMHO), but the cast of this film is a hoot! 50’s teen idol Fabian (Forte) drinking and singing at the piano, an exotic and glamorous Daliah Lavi, and the “Oh, I am taking this role SO seriously and I’m a stud” Hugh O’Brian. This movie is simply a hoot – you must check it out if you haven’t seen it.
BONUS: Shirley, although NOT first billed, is the one featured on all the posters and artwork. Cleavage in a bathing towel and a frightened face clearly won over Hugh O’Brian’s smirk, I guess.
And I’ve got autographs and stories about Daliah Lavi, Fabian and the irascible Hugh O’Brian!
