Donatella Versace is held up to scrutiny about the way she looks.  But everybody needs to remember that she stepped in to continue (and preserve) her brother’s legacy after he was killed by Andrew Cunanan.  That’s no easy feat.    

For the first time in France, Sotheby’s is organizing an exhibition of the original Hermes Birkin bag that once belonged to  Jane Birkin. This legendary model will be on show in Paris from October 12 to 31, as part of the “Excellence à la Française” exhibition. UPDATE: October 2025 - It sold for $10.1 MILLION DOLLARS

Did I meet Calvin Klein? Or did somebody get that autograph for me. My friend Kent B. and I were invited to a party at Calvin's house on Fire Island. I don't remember if we went or not. I think we did, but I don't think Calvin was there. Or perhaps he was watching us boys by the pool from inside. My memory falters. I'm losing it. I've also lost some of my clothes.

Here's my cringe Tom Cruise “Risky Business” slide in Calvin Klein tidy whities - doing the clapping that is so dated and irritating. But I'm not hating my serratus, lats or shoulders. Braggy pants.

Diane Von Furstenberg invented the wrap dress in 1974, married uber-wealthy Barry Diller in 2001 and is still a major player on the social scene - even being on the highly coveted guest list of Jeff Bezos wedding. Wrap it up, I'll take it.

Hilfiger - never my style with those colors and his logo. And then there was the rumors about racist comments that affected his bottom line greatly. "How do rumors get started? They get started by the jealous people" - Timex Social Club

Paloma Picasso - Again, I don't know how I got this autograph. But it's a cool pic.

I used to like Fashion - primarily Prada. Now I'm like ... what's comfortable, fitted and classic? On sale. At the outlets.
