GONE WITH THE WIND AUTOGRAPHS

Does the aroma of cancel culture still linger around “Gone with the Wind”.  Dumb. I've got autographs from plenty of the cast members - including Vivien Leigh. I'll fill in more members of the cast later.

But let's talk about the female child of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara. Bonnie Blue Butler, this unfortunate child character, died of a broken neck. Lesson: Maybe four-year-olds shouldn’t be riding ponies. 

Cammie King, the child actress who played her, never appeared in another movie.  (Although she did provide the voice of Faline in “Bambi” the following year.) 

Almost a one-and-done.  But at least it was a big one. 

For years, I thought this autograph was the real deal. Until I inspected it under a microscope and then saw the exact same photo/autograph/placement for sale. It's just a print. Sigh.

VICTOR JORY AUTOGRAPH

Character actor Victor Jory played Jonas Wilkerson, the overseer of plantation Tara. However, I think his "King of the Fairies" character in "A Midsummer's Night Dream" had a better costume though. Ha!
