When my fellow autograph collector and buddy, Michael Augustine-Reed @HollywoodBoy63 showed me his autographed “People Under the Stairs” cast photo signed and for sale, I jumped at the opportunity. 

I’ve been jittery about people living in the walls ever since seeing “Bad Ronald”, the 1974 TV-movie, starring Scott Jacoby. 

“The People Under the Stairs” was right up my alley.  Wes Craven. Super-creepy Wendy Robie. Hands reaching through walls. Two stars of “Twin Peaks”. Kids trapped in a scary house. “Quest for Fire’s” main ape-man. A leather GIMP. Laughably quotable lines galore.  Come on … it’s better than an STD for the gift that keeps giving. 

Even the trailer holds up.

The cast will always have a table at Horror Conventions. Even though Ving Rhames might be asking “Is THIS what you remember me from?!?!”  (P.S. I think the autograph shown here is a forgery since his V’s are usually sharper and he doesn’t usually sign his R’s like that. Oh well.)
