REDRUM!
It was "The Shining" book that hooked me first. I was a big fan of Stephen King since first finding "Carrie" in paperback when I was 10. And I think both "Carrie" and "The Shining" are satisfying film adaptations of really great books.
Here are autographs of:
Jack Nicholson - The photo inscribed to Bob was gotten by me TTM; I think it's real and that I caught Jack on a good day with a smart letter. The signed card is probably a fake. More autographs and stories on Jack, his wife co-stars, etc - to follow.
Shelley Duvall - So talented, too much sadness later in life. Blood in an Elevator frightens Wendy with a Knife.
Scatman Crothers - Underutilized talent; great death scene.
Danny Lloyd - Danny Torrance will live forever. Conventions will keep Danny paid.
Burns Twins - The creepy twins; forgeries abound.
Joseph Turkel - I'd give Joe the Best Movie Bartender Award over Tom Cruise in "Cocktail". For sure.
