I knew Ringo Starr BEFORE I knew of the Beatles.  That’s because, when I was ten and the “No, No Song” came out, I loved it and knew all the words.  Had ZERO concept of what the hell he was talking about, though.  And I also loved “You’re Sixteen” but I had the wrong, nonsensical words stuck in my head for years – “You walked out of my dreams and into my car, now you’re ageldee wife”.  Now I know it’s “angel divine” but “ageldee wife” made more sense when I was a kid.  Wait … has “You’re Sixteen” been cancelled??
