Let’s talk about celebs from the House of York!

Michael York is in so many good things but sticks out primarily in my mind from "Logan’s Run", one of my absolute favorites.  He was also sexually ambiguously awesome in "Cabaret", great as part of the all-star cast in ""Murder on the Orient Express" and then there was the 1977 version of "The Island of Dr. Moreau" hmmm. It was pretty good at the time, but I definitely prefer "Island of Lost Souls" and even the wacked Brando/Kilmer 1996 version.

But "Logan's Run" had Farrah Fawcett! And a dating portal where a man shows up for a man (gay flicker - 1976 - gasp!). When Michael eventually meets Jenny Agutter via the portal he gets right to the point with "Let's have sex" Now THAT is VERY gay 1976. Also, take a look and tell me if you can see a little bit of Aubrey Plaza in Jenny.

Susannah York played Superman's mother and was famous for starring in "Tom Jones" - which I never saw. Little did I know that my files would also reveal a large collection of nude shots.  "Art films. NUDIES!!!"

Francine York was always a regular at the Hollywood Collector show autograph signings because of her TV appearances in "Batman" and "Bewitched". A beautiful woman. She got her start in a film with Jerry Lewis, so I pity her knowing his handsy ownership attitude with many of his sexy, often hand-picked, female co-stars.  More on the grumpasaurus rex, Jerry Lewis, elsewhere.

I also have other York's in my collection including royals formerly known as The Duchess of York (Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson) AND I have Prince Edward of York, also known as the Duke of Windsor (plus his wife, Wallis).

But I don't have Dick.
